More Than 30 Years of Experience
Creative Learning Company (CLC) was founded in 1991 with Barbara Prashnig as CEO in Auckland, New Zealand. The idea behind it was to spread modern learning, teaching and training methods based on the latest brain research in New Zealand. This project was successful from the start, because the time was right to introduce new learning strategies to progressive educators and trainers.
In the mid-1990s, our first software product, WorkingStyle Analysis (at that time still on floppy disks) was launched and sold worldwide. In this way, the basis for a technical development was created that was revolutionary for the time and could later use the beginnings of the Internet. A software improvement strategy was also developed based on the Kaizen principle - i.e. always-ongoing small improvements made that continue to this day.
In-house training programs for companies were also carried out with great success in New Zealand, Australia and Europe and this started the international growth of this small New Zealand company.
1996 was a significant year as Barbara Prashnig's first book 'Diversity is our Strength' was published in New Zealand in English and at the same time Swedish and Finnish translations in Scandinavia. The management seminar for school leaders 'Creating the School of the Future' was also created this year, which has also been successfully offered internationally for more than 10 years. This new approach to learning and teaching has produced countless pioneers at educational institutions in many countries who are still using these methods today - 25 years later.
